We are honored to have Bishop Campbell here on Monday to celebrate Mass with the students of the Tuscarawas County Catholic Schools. It will be a very special occasion to have the students and staffs from all three schools in Immaculate Conception Church. Mass time is 10:30 am. Seating will be very limited.

Immediately after the Mass, all students and staff will have lunch at the Dennison Knights of Columbus hall. Lunch is free for the students and staff. The meal will be provided by the Dennison Yard and consist of rigatoni and meatballs, salad, garlic bread, and milk or water.   Students may pack their lunch if you wish.

Friday we will have a dress down day to benefit our seminarian, Brother Abraham.   We will conduct occasional dress down days to help Brother Abraham and our own T.J. LeHigh who is continuing his studies to become a priest.

Tuesday, October 6 is an early dismissal day. The pre-school will dismiss at 12:30 pm. Kindergarten through grade six will dismiss at 1:00 pm.   Claymont will provide transportation at dismissal time. We will NOT have the afternoon New Philadelphia bus. The faculty will have an in-service program Tuesday afternoon.

It feels like the school year just began, but we are already at mid-term time for the first quarter.   Mid-Term Reports (Interim Reports) for grades K-6 will be published on-line in SchoolSpeak Friday morning.   Printed copies of the reports will be available next week. If you need assistance with our SchoolSpeak account, please call the school office.

We are considering starting an after-school latchkey program as a convenience for parents dealing with transportation or child care issues after school. We are looking at a program that would be open until 4:30 or 5:00 pm. Parents would be charged an hourly rate for use of the service.   Would your family use a latchkey program? Please let us know by sending an email to mritzert@cdeducation.org or just calling the school.
